This was Engel's 2nd involvement in the project overall, and 3rd lecture for November --he previously shared some of his legal experiences and knowledge in Mitrovica and in Pristina, Kosovo, ala Law Faculties in those locations--again in association with the NCSC.
Engel finished up his participation in the NCSC project in December with 5 more lectures/presentations, including a new one on "How to Construct and Present a Closing Argument" before area Law Schools in Kosovo.
The Live Criminal Law Clinic is supported by the D4J Program. It offers students of the Faculties of Law the opportunity to assist KBA advocates in their pro bono representation of poor criminal defendants. The Clinic serves law students, each of whom will have the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in practice by working on live legal cases under the mentorship of a KBA advocate during their fourth year of law school or Master’s program.
Demand for Justice Program aims to empower citizen demand for justice in Kosovo. This program is supported by NCSC.
