D4J introduces Live Criminal Law Clinics at the University of Prishtina

October 16, 2017 – Following the success of Live Criminal Law Clinics at the University of Peja “Haxhi Zeka” and the University of Prizren “Ukshin Hoti”, the Demand for Justice Program (D4J) is launching the clinics program at the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”.

Today, D4J signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Law Faculty of the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina” and the Kosovo Bar Association (KBA) to establish the Live Criminal Law Clinic with the objective of increasing the quality of legal education in Kosovo by enhancing practical skills of law students. The Clinic will give University of Prishtina students the opportunity to assist KBA advocates in their pro bono representation of indigent and vulnerable criminal defendants.
