“Demand for Justice” Program Briefs INL’s Rule of Law Assessment Team

Demand for Justice (D4J) Program welcomed representatives of Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs for an assessment meeting. Together with D4J program partners, NCSC briefed Stephanie Larsen, Foreign Affairs Officer, Roushani Mansoori, Justice Advisor and Leon Lowder, Director of U.S. State/INL in the US Embassy in Kosovo on the progress of the program and the synergies created in empowering citizens to demand justice and promote transparency and accountability in the rule of law sector in Kosovo.

This was an excellent opportunity for our D4J partners to share their individual accomplishments, and to demonstrate how each D4J partner’s project deliverables feed into, and strengthen the work of their D4J coalition partners.  The meeting also allowed the D4J coalition to bring specific project opportunities and challenges to the fore, and to present a short video highlighting the success of D4J “Youth for Justice” lectures delivered in high schools in Prishtina, Peja, Prizren and Mitrovica region.

Demand for Justice Program aims to empower citizens demand for justice in Kosovo. This program is implemented by NCSC and supported by the US Department of State/INL.
